Terms

This is what applies when you book.

Booking

The booking applies to the time that you and I have confirmed, through a confirmation email and text message. Requests need to be confirmed by me and then by you to be valid.

Right of withdrawal

If you change your mind within 14 days of booking, that's fine. Get in touch by text or email, or use the Swedish Consumer Agency's withdrawal form (in Swedish). When you book, you ask me to do the tyre change within those 14 days, and the right of withdrawal ends once the change is done. Businesses and housing cooperatives have no right of withdrawal.

Cancellation

Cancel or reschedule free until 8 pm the day before. Later cancellations or changes may be charged half the price, as may a visit where the tyre change can't be done on site. If you cancel within 14 days of booking, it's free of charge, even if it's late.

Payment

Payment is made after the work is done and an invoice has been sent, due on the same date as the work. You then pay by Swish to the number on the invoice.

Before the visit

The wheels need to be within three car lengths of the car, which includes storage rooms, garages, stairwells and the like. A 100 kr surcharge for carrying help applies if the tyres are further away. You can move the tyres closer to avoid the surcharge.

Have the locking wheel nut key ready when I arrive, in case the car's wheel bolts need one. The car needs at least 100 cm of space on each side for me to do the work.

If the car has an alarm, I need the key, or the car needs to be left unlocked. It is your responsibility to lock the car once I'm done.

Tyres I don't fit

Tyres with low tread depth, under 2 mm on summer tyres and under 4 mm on winter tyres, I only fit with your approval by text message. Under 1.6 mm on summer tyres and 3 mm on winter tyres I don't fit them at all, and I recommend that you replace them before I do the change.

Tyres that can be a serious risk, such as visible cords, bulges in the sidewalls or cracks in the sidewalls, aren't fitted either. In that case I may charge half the price for the trip out and the time it takes up during a very busy season.

Responsibility

It is my responsibility, Theodor Wahlberg, that the tyres are fitted safely and that the car is lifted at the right point. I check the tyres, but accidents, for example punctures, that aren't caused by my work are not my responsibility.

If damage is caused by my work, I tell you straight away. I pay for minor damage myself and report major damage to my insurer.

I recommend that you re-tighten all wheel bolts after 100 km.

If you notice something is wrong after the change, get in touch as soon as you can, and I'll put it right.

Surcharges

Times at 08 and 21 have a 100 kr surcharge, and times at 09 and 20 a 50 kr surcharge. During the season the surcharge is per car, by the time that particular car is changed. Outside the season the surcharge is 100 kr per visit, whatever the time.

If you're off my route that day, there is a surcharge for the longer drive. It is based on the detour your booking adds: the first 25 minutes are free, then 50 kr per started 5 minutes. The surcharge is shown next to the time and in the price before you book. If you choose the time, you pay the surcharge. If I suggest the time, I cover it.

Carrying help has an extra surcharge of 100 kr if the tyres are more than three car lengths from the car when it is parked as close to the tyres as possible.

Hotellfri is a service where I go to your tyre hotel and collect your wheels. It doesn't include the tyre change itself, which is the basic service. One-off fee 800 kr.
